In view of the need for a vehicle to transmit the timeless cultural heritage of India by maintaining the GURU-SHISHYA parampara  ‘NUPURA NINAADA NRITHYA ACADEMY’ is started by Ms.Shwetha Lakshman to train young artists in Bharatanatyam in its pristine form. The Nupura Ninaada Nrithya Academy is established by Shwetha Lakshman with the blessings from her parents and well wishers in January 2009.

This Academy encompasses Mrs/ Mr. Lakshman , Ms.Shilpa Laksman  and Mr.Krishna Murthy as Trustees with Ms.Shwetha lakshman as Performing Director
